This isn't your Grandma's Wallpaper

I'm loving wild wallpaper. These days it's about adding a wow factor. It can be the perfect update for a small space like a bathroom or laundry room or a pop on a wall of a larger room. I love this coral wallpaper off of the all white tile and tub - it feels modern and feminine!Just because a bathroom is small doesn't mean it needs to be boring. Designer Monique L'Huillier made quite a statement in this guest bath in her home. The chartreuse color looks great here and one of the benefits of a white pattern is that it prevents a bright color from feeling too aggressive. This dog pattern by Osborne and Little is the funniest thing I have ever seen! I love a sense of humor in decorating.
The pattern here makes for an exciting entry space that might otherwise be ignored and lost. Osborne and Little really know how to have some fun! They make this zebra print too! This kelly green pattern makes doing laundry a little more exciting!
I like the walls, but this chair is pretty great too!

  1. I love the wow factor too. You just can't get the same result with paint, not even close.

  2. The wallpaper is gorgeous. I have to admit, I haven't seen any of the "new" wallpapers in a home yet. Of course, I see lots of 80s style paper...

  3. Wallpaper I think is still a bold move..., we all remember those old ones that many of us scrapped off. But the new ones are nothing like those...

  4. I was thinking of doing something bold like that on the inside of my closet. I know, I know. I'm a chicken. But at least my closets will pop! :)

  11. When we moved into our house I could not stand the wallpaper. It was the first thing to go. Now something hip would be nice. I love the doggie paper. Need to find a place to put that!
