But I'm seeing another trend out there which seems to be for those a little more daring --- colorful appliances! The yellow stove is a stunning pop of color in here! I love how it reiterates the yellow from the artwork. Colorful cabinets are fun too! I think it's a neat way of adding color beyond the typical wall paint.

ReplyDeleteWe're white kitchen'ed at our house. It looks its best when full of laughing people and colorful food. I do love the yellow stove though. (Pardon my deleted post above - some of my worst spelling since the '90's
ReplyDeleteI always prefer colour over all-white :-) I've seen lots of all-white rooms that I like, but I don't think I could live with all white.
ReplyDeleteMy dream kitchen would have glossy cobalt blue cabinets :-)
The bright yellow stove is FAB!!!

I'm a white kitchen cabinet and appliances type of gal. I do like the photo above where they use the island as a pop of color.
ReplyDeleteI love a white, crisp kitchen. I recently had my kitchen cabinets painted white (they were 1980s pickled oak before), and I love the effect. However, with my white corian countertops (I now want to change out my countertops - does it ever end)? I decided I needed some color - so I got out my most colorful cookbooks, put them against the backsplash in the corner of the kitchen, and this is just the right touch!
ReplyDeleteLove that yellow stove and the yellow flowers on the wall. That's my favorite!
ReplyDeleteLove the colorful kitchens, problem is you stuck with that yellow $11,000 stove should you want to change your scheme 6 years down the road....just a thought. Love the Farm table island in the first pic!
ReplyDeleteFun images! I would just be happy with new counter tops and sink! *dreaming*
ReplyDeleteHow great is that yellow oven?
ReplyDeleteAlthough, our kitchen is all white cabinets and white marble bench tops. We did splash a bit of colour into the tiles though.
Stunning kitchens~ ALL. My tastes run from white to dark in a period of days; sure glad I am not a spot in my life right now where i would have to make the decision.

Love looking at those kitchens, but I don't think I would chose to live with one of them - give me my neutral and stainless steel any day!
ReplyDeleteI love white kitchen but unfortunately, my kitchen is kinda creamy & hardwood. Am loving it though.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a fab 4th of July celebration.
Cheers!
I tend to go toward a colorful kitchen...however some of these were farther than I could comfortably go. Very fun to look at, though.
ReplyDeleteHave a great Fourth of July!
Yes!! Love a pop of color. It makes it all so much fun! I have a fire engine red stove hood. Thought I would change it...but never have!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love colorful kitchens, with white as the one neutral color. That last one is so perfect!
ReplyDeleteLove your blog and these colorful kitchens!
ReplyDeleteWhite kitchens are great - but even better to add a dash (or two!) of color! We did off white cabinets (long story there...) but added a green island. It gives the room so much more interest!
ReplyDeleteOooo I love that third stove, especially! I'm a color girl, but muted. =)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the lovely photos! We are going to redo our kitchen sometime in this never ending renovation, and it's always nice to see inspiration!
Happy 4th!

I love those pinky/red cabinets you pictured, but I'd be too chicken to install them.
ReplyDeleteI think I'd worry too much about keeping all-white clean, so would probably vote for a bit of (gentle) color.
As much as I am inspired by the pops of color, I'm still a white kitchen gal at heart. I think I could venture into color with some small appliances, like the red KitchenAid mixer, or a toaster or kettle.
ReplyDeleteThough, when I saw the blue kitchen above, it looked pretty nice, but not sure I could do it when it came down to the crunch. :-)
I'm a white cabinet/blue wall kind of gal! If I tire of the blue walls, I can be a green or red or yellow wall gal next! But I'm definitely a white cabinet gal.
ReplyDeleteWow, those colorful cabinets would take some getting used to. But hey I'm willing to give it a try!
